I have an E-machine, windows 98 , connected to AOL
Problem - I can sign on, use the mail, send and receive
to a point. If the mail says AOL USERS CLICK HERE, it will not access the internet. I upgraded the browser to internet explorer 5.2 , installed it and still no access. I can use intetrnet explorer to access the internet but it seems to me AOL should access it to let me read messages and use AOL LINKS.( from mail )
I received an e-mail about a virus and only opened the mail to read and then canceled it. I have used a restore disc, reloaded aol 5.0, don't like 6.0, and still have problem going to favorite places, message says internet explorer cannot access internet.
CAN YOU HELP. I really don't want to keep clicking on internet explorer because AOL isn't accessing the web.
